你知道Maker能夠為環境做些甚麼正面意義的事情嗎？
MakerbarTaipei邀請在國外運用開源硬體創作製造可以在海面上收集漏油，並且清理海洋垃圾的機器人的研發者Cesar Harada來分享他創作的想法與經驗。
Protei,
是一臺低成本開源硬體的集油機器人，Protei結合了傳統技術與創新設計，我們可以在短期內實現，以解決及時的環境危機，如石油洩漏，清理海洋環流垃圾或進行海洋研究。
這個專案由Cesar Harada提出，計劃案在2011年透過kickstarter平台幕資成功，目前Protei已經正在持續進行他的任務當中。
講者介紹：
Cesar Harada (31),
is a french-Japanese Inventor living and working in Hong Kong. Passionate about the environment and with an entrepreneur spirit, Cesar has been developing Open Source technologies to explore and protect the ocean such as “Protei” the shape-shifting sailing robot, a futuristic autonomous vessel. 3 weeks ago Cesar was sailing around Fukushima Japan, sampling seafloor sediments to make a map of ocean radioactivity. Cesar is a TED senior Fellow, former MIT project Leader, GOOD100 figure of progress, graduate from Design Interactions Royal College of Arts, London.
